Happy Almost Easter

We went to my first Easter egg hunt this past weekend. I had fun running around the playground. The slide was my favorite. I'd try to climb up it backwards and yell 'weeeee' everytime I went down it. I did find one egg, but didn't really care about it too much. Grandma and I iced an Easter egg cookie while we were there and made a big mess :)

My vocabulary has been getting a lot bigger. I know things like: turtle, boot, shoe, five, two, Elmo, bunny, hop hop hop, MINE, and other things. I love to read and pretend to eat the fruit and smell the flowers in my picture books. (Grandma taught me that.)

One of my favorite things to do is 'wash' dishes. Everyday when I come home from school that's what I want to do. And boy do I get mad if nobody lets me! (Daddy thinks that the terrible twos have started six months early.)

I enjoy coloring a lot. I like to dump out my crayons and color in my Powerpuff Girls coloring books.

I love noodles. Have I mentioned that already? I could eat spaghetti and yogurt everyday and be happy... of course until I get sick of it. Mommy and Daddy are trying to breka me of my 'throwing food on the floor when I don't want anymore' habit. I'm getting better at it. I will give it to Mommy when I'm done instead.

This weekend I get to see my family in Virginia. I think its goign to be fun playing with my cousins and sister. Talk to you after then!

Hello Everybody

I just wanted to share some new things from the week. Boy am I getting tall. I can reach almost everything on every table. Yay!

-My new word of the week is 'no.' I can also say 'yes' and sometimes say it, but 'no' is much more fun.
-I tried Chinese food for the first time. I LOVED Lo Mein noodles. I picked out all of the vegetables except for the water chestnuts and ate just the noodles.
-I love reading my Dr. Suess books now. Thanks, Lynda, for buying them for me. "There's a Wocket in My Pocket" and "The Cat in the Hat" are my favorites.

-I've started stacking my blocks really high. Mommy has a video of me doing it, but she has to figure out how to make the video smaller for you guys to download.
-I now can call Yin and Nomi and have fun doing it. It sounds like I'm saying 'Yanny' intead of 'Yinny' but everybody knows what I mean.

I think that's it for today. Mom is going to try to put up my Christmas pictures today.

Happy Valentines Day

I had a busy day today. First, i went to my first birthday party at McDonalds. It was Tryston's, my neighbor's grandson, birthday. I had fun playing in the Playplace but it took time for me to warm up. Next, I went to Uncle Dan's birthday party. I had cake, ice cream, and some other stuff not as fun. I ended up taking a fork and started eating the side of the cake.

Let's see. I'm learning all kinds of things lately. I'm getting pretty good at my daily routine too. In the morning, I wake up and have my milk and then I go jump on Daddy in bed. When Daddy isn't in bad, I look under all the blankets and pillows looking for him. When I'm done getting dressed, I want to go downstairs to get my coat and shoes even if nobody is ready. Twice i got my door open and tried to go downstairs by myself. When I get my coat and shoes, I get to go to school and play with the kids all day.

Mommy picks me up and we wait for Grandma to ride me home. I look out the window at daycare and call for 'MumMumMumMum' (that's what I call Grandma) to arrive. Then we go home and I get to have dinner and dessert with Mommy and Daddy. Then I have my milk (and I tell Mommy when she forgets what time it is that I want my bottle) and Daddy tells me its bath time. I wave goodnight to everybody, turn the light out of them because its funny and walk upstairs with daddy. We then play in the bath and when I'm done I put all my toys away. Mommy and I brush our teeth. (I say Teeth pretty well now)... and then its book and bedtime.

Let's see. I am learning new words all the time. Some I can say better than others. The words I say right now are Mommy, Daddy, Kitty, Cat, Dog, Sheep, Baaa, Moo, Juice, Please, Fish, Bubble, Bottle, PapPap, and Cheese. i don't say them all the time, but I can say them. Sometimes I have to be coaxed into saying them.


I'm really learning how to feed myself. I'm better at using a spoon and love to feed myself yogurt. I try to use a fork but do not always hit the food.

I also have four new teeth coming in on the top. Hopefully they come in soon!

Happy New Year

Happy New Year everybody. I've been up to alot of things, mostly causing mischief. Haha. I've been very active and very happy. At school, they say that I'm the happiest baby. I run around everywhere and get into everything. I love riding on my toys from my birthday and playing with my musical christmas toys. My great grandparents got me a learning table that I love to dance with. MawMaw got me a dancing Elmo toy that I dance with before I go to bed.

New Quirks:

One of my new developements is my blanket. I adore the blanket that my great Aunt Janet made for me when I was born. I have to take it with me when I wake up and when I see it in the room I have to carry it around.

I also put things away when I'm done with them. When I'm done with my lunch, if I'm eating some pick up food, I put what I'm not going to eat away in its bowl or well.. throw it on the floor. I then laugh when Stormy tries to eat it.

I also like to brush my teeth at night. After I'm done in the bath (which I like to stand in now rather than sit down), I point to the medicine cabinet because its time to brush my teeth. The baby toothpaste is yummy so I mostly chew on my tooth brush. But I'm trying.

New Words I don't always say them, but here's what I can definately say: Ball, Duck, Quack, Dad, Dada, Mama, Mommy, Cat, Kitty, Baby, Hi, and Bye. I say 'Baaa' alot too. I tend not to say things when I'm asked to say them. I'm not a one girl show! :)
