We're back after a long hiatus! My mom is going to do her best to get my old information up here too so that we remember what was going on with me when I was really little. You can use this page to see what's going on with me lately. I will also have a link to my family pictures since I'm not the only one getting camera time anymore. I have a fun baby sister now (except when she's taking my toys!!)

Trick or Treat

Halloween came and went, but we had so much fun! Noelle was a self called Barbie Fairy Princess. Her pink birthday princess dress had wings on it, and she wore a princess hat thing that Aunt Kris gave her. She spent the day twirly in her dress and just enjoying being a princess. But we're not surprised about that. Haha. Daycare went trick or treating at the shops in Bellevue, and then daycare had their Halloween party.

Noelle carried her special witch bucket that Lynda made for her and pranced up all the steps having to hold her dress up because it was so long. Or Mama helped her carry her 'train' up the steps. After awhile, the princess had to rest and rode in Livia's stroller. It was called her coach and she would say things like "Mommy, I'm at my stop" or "My coach has arrived"... then she'd get out and go up to the house. It was rather funny. She definitely played the part.

The kids were exhausted when we were done and slept good. Grandma and Mommy were ready for bed too! But it was a perfect day for Halloween. Nice weather and a lot of fun.

Camping

Our new camping pictures are up for everybody to see (go to the link on the right of the page or click here)! We had a lot of fun. Noelle and I stayed in a two room cabin. She wanted to sleep on the bunk beds at first, but she got a bit intimidated by it and ended up sharing a bed with me. She loved sleeping in her sleeping bag and just being outdoors in general.

When asked, "playing" was her favorite thing to do... when asked in more detail she liked throwing sticks in the lake (which are in our pictures), playing with the two Ashleys, and the hay ride (which had no hay) where she got to howl at the moon with Aunt Sue (who Noelle reminds me was being a lamp by holding the light while cooking Friday night). She definitely did not want to go home, but it was time. She was happy to see Baby Liv and her toys when returning back to the house. Although, we miss the fresh outdoors air already!

Plenty of pictures are up and we had plenty of fun. We will definitely be back next year.

I am not a rockstar.

So apparently "Rock star" is not a nickname Noelle likes. I (and many others) end up calling her that when she's decked out in all her bangles and sparkles. We are quick to be corrected that she is a Princess and not a Rock Star. Usually a conversation with Noelle goes like this when somebody meets her for the first time (or hasn't seen her in awhile): "My name is Noelle Claudia Chase. Sometimes I am called Princess Noelle. And I call myself Cinderella." And occasionally she throws in at the end: "And I have three cousins... Logan, Kaiden, and Baby Madelyn."

Noelle is excited this week because we went to the pumpkin patch where she picked out a pumpkin for herself. We will be taking the pumpkin to a class at the zoo called "Wildlife Pumpkin Painting." She wants to pain zebras, but I don't know what the class is about so we'll see. A picture will definitely get posted of it. She is also excited because I'm taking her camping with the Hilliards this weekend. We'll be staying in a cabin, but I think she's mostly excited to get some Noelle/Mama time. I'm sure there will be picture of that up too.

For Halloween, Miss Noelle is going to be a fairy princess. I bought her pink wings to go with her fancy pink princess dress... which you will see in her birthday pictures.

Her birthday party was fun. It was a bowling party at the local duckpin bowling lanes at the Bellevue Knights of Columbus. A few of her friends from school came: Raven, Caroline, and Nathaniel. Tia, a 'distant' relative of some sort, came as well. The adults were the usual suspects really. :) You know who you are!! The theme was princess so she had her Disney princess cake. The kids had a blast bowling and the parents were all great helping. Of course, the presents were the highlight for her. To go with her new fancy pants princess castle doll house, she has several new princess barbie dolls and horse. She loved everything she got from everybody. We read all the new books almost every day. She plays with all her new Barbies... and many sleep beside her on her pillow, as well. Apparently, it is great being 4.

Small new things

We'll have more information and pictures up from our trip to the beach last week soon. But we just wanted to make a few small notes about the things that Noelle is up to right now...

Noelle started her Intro to Dance class a few weeks ago. They learn tap, ballet and tumbling every Saturday morning. Noelle loves dressing up in her ballet clothes and seems to have fun each week. There should be a few recitals or shows through the year so we'll get lots of pictures!

Today Noelle is going to take her first monthly riding lesson. "Aunt" Stacie has been teaching horse back riding part time and Noelle is going to be one of her students. Since Noelle is still small, she's going to start on a pony, but that's okay with Noelle! It's only once a month, so we'll keep you posted on how that goes.

Noelle is still in love with princesses and has now moved into Barbie princesses also. She is so excited about her birthday next week! We'll have more to tell later.

Princesses & Festivals

A funny story from Mom...

Noelle really enjoys her princess things as everybody knows. Well, Thursday night after bath time she wouldn't get into her pajamas for Aunt Kris or Grandma... she put her pink princess dress back on (it was her Easter dress) to sleep in. Eventually she got out of her bed to put her tiara on too, but Grandma convinced ehr it might get broken so that got put up. When I woke her up on Friday morning she had her dress and princess shoes on sleeping. And then she only wanted to wear it to daycare. There was no getting her to change. So I gave in and let her wear it. She was definitely trying to play the part. She was blowing kisses to everybody and greeting her friends at the door. I eventually convinced her she couldn't wear it for a third day on Saturday because it needed cleaned... but boy does she have fun being a princess. Livia has learned to play the part of the fairy godmother for Noelle. She can say "Bibidi Bobidi Boo" now.

But the real fun of Saturday ended up being Assumption Church's festival. It's semi tradition to go to it since that's the school we went to as kids... we took Noelle last year and she loved it. So we went back this year. Noelle enjoyed getting her hands painted rather than her face ;-) She rode the train, mini Whip, and loved the bouncy castle. One of the highlights had to be running into some of her daycare friends... what 3 year olds converse about is funny. It was all about the shiny whistle Noelle won at the duck pond. Watching the kids light up with the games, prizes, and fun is just well... fun.

Noelle also got her hair cut really for the first time. I only had a few inches taken off the back of it... but still. She never had her hair cut before and I miss her little curls at the end ;)

Already a Diva.

I am the official 3 year old room Hula Queen at daycare. We had Hula week this week where we made grass skirts, flowered necklaces, and practiced our Hula dancing. Today we had our Hula party, and I did the hula so well that I was picked Hula Queen out of all the girls! Miss Sally and Miss Christie gave me a special Hula Queen crown and Miss Sally gave me a dollar out of her purse.

Mama took video of me dancing at home. Mommy and Maw were so proud of me winning. Mommy and I went to the dollar store and I bought a princess doll in a green dress with my dollar. I even got to pay for it by myself. Here's a picture of me in my Hula outfit and if you go to our picture website, Mommy is putting a movie of me dancing up.

New Pictures!

I almost forgot. We updated our pictures. There are ones from June, July, and two new movies.

Lots to do in July!

Let's see, what all have we done this month?

I love a good birthday party. We started off July by having a birthday party for Aunt Kris. I picked out her cake. It's one of my favorite things to do for birthday's. I also got her a Princess place mat... but she has to keep it at my house because I really liked it to.

I got to see Ratatouille which was fun. I was upset, though, when Remy got separated from his family. I had to ask through the whole movie when he was going to see them again.

At the beginning of the month, we went to Virginia to see my cousins as I told everybody. We also saw MawMaw and everybody else too! I had so much fun playing with everybody. Kaiden, Logan and I would play in the big swimming pool as much as we could. It was especially funny when the adults got in to play too. First we played with Uncle Chris. Then we got to play with MawMaw in the pool, but she got in with her clothes on! It was even more funny when Kaiden turned the hose on her. Later on that day, Mommy and Hadley got in the pool with us in their clothes. Then MawMaw and Aunt Mandy joined in too! But was even more funny was when we got Uncle Josh all wet. We liked playing Kryptonite Fingers with Uncle Chris and MawMaw. It's a game that Logan taught us. MawMaw would also tell us to stop drinking her water and tickle us to get it back. We had so much fun at MawMaw's house. I didn't want to leave!

But I had fun when Hadley came home with us. I wanted to play Sailor Moon with her a lot. She got to be Sailor Jupiter and we had to go fight the bad guy. We also go to go shopping with Hadley and went to the zoo, too. I like seeing my big sister! I can't wait to go see her and visit the beach in a few months.

Yesterday, we had a birthday party for Mommy. We had friends and family come over and had a bbq. I think I had the most fun going shopping with Maw to find a present for Mommy and then sitting in my sandbox and pretending it was a beach. I didn't want to eat dinner because I was having so much fun. I also go to play with Uncle Danny. He's so much fun, but I don't think he'll admit it. He took the picture of me here.

I hit another growth spurt this month. We had to buy me longer shirts. I'm wearing a 5/6 in girls now because I'm getting so long. I am taller than most of my friends at school.

Let's see... my favorite things are still Cinderella and My Little Pony. I watch Cinderella at least once a day for the past month. I love princesses!

We've been gone for a bit!

Sorry everybody!

One of my favorite things I've done in the past weeks was ride a horse! Miss Stacie has a brown (chestnut) horse called Indy that she let me ride. I want to be a cowgirl now. It was so much fun... I even made mommy get on a horse and she was a silly scardy. I had no problems! At first i was a bit intimidated by all the horses because they're so tall and I never saw one before. But they were fun. Livia kept petting them all so eventually I did. They liked to sniff me. I even got to feed Indy a biscuit and help give him a bath. I definitely will be going back!

I've been doing a lot of playing in the sand box... and turning the water box into a beach of sorts. :)

I do a lot of dancing to Princess music. I want to be Cinderella when I grow up.

Let's see... i went to the dentist for the first time and had fun. He said I have good teeth and let me pick out a toy from a toy chest. I also got to go to my friend Raven's birthday party. We ran through the sprinkler all day and ate a ton of cake and ice cream.

In a few weeks I get to visit my cousins. That's all I've been talking about. I miss "Logan, Kaiden, and baby Madelyn."

Talk to you later!!

New Pictures!

We're in the process of putting up new pictures today. So far we have May 2007 up. Mama is trying to get some older and sillier ones of me playing on her computer too. Here's one of the pictures. Mama is squishing me :-) I'm sure most of you know that joke... I don't. I just thought she was being silly.

Tomorrow I get to go ride a horse for the first time so I'll let you know how that goes!! Although, I'm sure Miss Stacie will be holding me on the horse more than me riding it.

Lots to Do and See

Hello everybody!

We were bad and didn't write last week so I know it is going to be hard remembering everything we've done! Last week our big event was going to the Pittsburgh Zoo event. On Tuesday, me, Mommy, Baby Liv, and Maw went to the zoo after everybody was doing working. We got to see a new thing that only members could see. The preview of the underwater tunnel and the new sea otters! It was so neat that we got to see under them. The polar bears weren't swimming but the otters were. They were so close that I wanted to touch them. I had so much fun! You know me, I love animals!!

This week, we're on vacation in Michigan. Yesterday we went to the 'new zoo.' It was all I had talked about for weeks on end. The Detroit Zoo was a lot bigger than the Pittsburgh Zoo and we got to see some new animals. We got to walk through a path that had Red Kangaroos and Wallabys. Baby Liv kept calling them Kitties. I wanted to go pet them but we weren't allowed off the trail. When we went to see the Snow Monkeys, they were laying right next to the window so I got to stand at the glass and hold my hand up to him. It was like I could almost touch him. He held his hand up against the glass where mine and Baby Liv's were. It was neat!

I really liked the underwater tunnel here that connected to the Sea Lions. They were swimming right over me! Let's see... I liked the lions too. There were easier to see than any others. They were also lazy and sleeping. I didn't like the snake house too much. But the lizards were pretty neat in there. Snakes are creepy and crawly.

Today I got to play at Jason's mommy's house. Miss Cheryl and his sister Ashlyn took me to the park. I had so much fun that I completely got worn out! Now I'm watching a movie on the sofa couch. Milo and Otis is on. Me and baby liv are supposed to be sleeping! But we're too excited. Anyway, we'll fill you in more next week!

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day everybody! I had a lot of fun this week getting ready for mother's day at school. We worked on some fun projects like a tissue paper card. I brought my Cars books to book day this week and my new princess pony for show and tell. I picked it out as a reward for being good all week. She lights up and has sparkles that I get all over my face when I play with her.

I've been playing outside a lot with Baby Liv. I like the sandbox the most. I'm also enjoying watering my garden out back. I have a little watering can and follow Mommy around helping water the flowers. The ones in my flower box are up to me to water but sometimes I need a little help with it. Today we put my turtle in the flower box to scare away the bunnies.

I hope it doesn't, though. I like watching the bunny that visits our yard. Me, Mommy, Nomi and Baby Liv watched it this morning through the French door in the living room. It was sitting about ten feet away eating grass and dandelions. We've also been seeing a lot of birds in our bird feeder too.

We also go to play with Aunt Kris and Pappap today. We filled the water table and had fun floating boats and things. Then we got ice cream with Mommy and Maw. Yum!

Tomorrow is GG's birthday! I'm looking forward to the cake and ice cream. I love parties!

It's May!

Hello everybody!

I've been busy this week. In school we learned all about flowers. We learned about daisies and roses. We learned that they have petals and stems. This weekend if it doesn't rain, I'm going to be planting a garden with everybody. I think Maw and Aunt Kris are really looking forward to helping me in the garden. I want to plant red flowers, blue flowers, purple flowers, and orange flowers. Soon, we'll be going to the store to pick them out. You'll have to come see my garden sometime!

I played with my best friends this week: Marissa (she's a new friend at school), Alexis, and Hannah. We like playing in the kitchen and pretending we're princesses. I like being Cinderella and so does Alexis.

Yesterday, since I was a good girl all week, I went to the red store (Target) with Maw and Mama and picked out a new My Little Pony to play with. It's a little pink one that came with a gumball machine and two lollipops. Some of my favorite things!

We'll have our April pictures up soon this weekend so you'll have to take a look. Our portraits are in there as well.

We'll write soon and let you know how our gardening went.

What have I been up to?

Well, we had a busy week this week.

First, we went to the zoo on Sunday. We took Baby Liv's wagon and road all around the zoo. I loved the Lions most of all and the penguins. The penguins kept swimming right up to the glass and playing in the water! I thought it was incredibly funny. The sea lions made me squeal and laugh too. I did get to pet a sheep. At first I was afraid but then mama started to pet the sheep and told me how soft it was: like a sweater.

Second, the weather was finally nice for part of the week! I played for hours in our new sandbox. Baby Liv likes the water... and I think she started liking eating sand too... but I like playing with my toys in the sandbox. I make them all live on the beach in a house and bury treasure for them.

I was good all week. No time outs and no potty accidents. So on Friday I got my reward: new cars! I took them to show and tell. They were Woody and Buzz cars from the end of the Cars movie. I love collecting new Cars toys.

Today Pappap and Aunt Kris came to visit me. I made Pappap build a castle with my blocks because I have some cinderella lego blocks. We had a lot of fun and got to eat brownies!

Back in business

Noelle's web site is back up after a year and a half hiatus. I was able to recover the old web logs from the site, but I'm still working on the pictures. I hope to have some of them. You can now see new pictures of the whole family by clicking on the link on the right hand side. Baby Liv will have her own site soon as well.

Make sure to leave me comments! We want to hear from you.
