My name

Some things have stories so this is one that should be posted.

Noelle Claudia is my name, and of course Mommy and Daddy love my name. They didn't agree on many girls names but the one they did fits me well. Mommy and Daddy love Christmas so Noelle seemed like a perfect fit even though I was born in October. Mommy suggested the name many months before I was born since she always liked it but Daddy didn't remember and thought he came up with it later. :-) Of course, they couldn't agree how to spell it. Mommy got to spell it Noelle because she let Daddy pick my middle name. But she liked Claudia (from the Baby Sitters Club books) so it worked out okay. Claudia is Latin (whatever that is) and is the feminine form of Claudius, one of Rome's emperors. It means "lame" but only because Emperor Claudius had a limp. I think.

So that's my name: Noelle Claudia Chase. (Mama is also a nerd and likes my initials NCC because it's a Star Trek thing...)
